Passenger Information

Passenger Check-In

The airlines suggest a one hour check-in prior to flight departure time (two hours for international flights).

Priority baggage service is available for Qantas Club (Qantas) members. Qantas provides members with access to their Qantas Club lounge which entitles them to complimentary snacks and beverages.

Passengers should note there are no ticketing services at the airport.

Baggage Claim

All flights - baggage can be collected from the carousel located inside the Arrivals Terminal.

For any unclaimed baggage please contact Broome Airport Services on 9193 6473 to arrange collection.

Baggage Lockers

Baggage locker facilities are available at the airport for a maximum storage period of 24 hours. Two different sized lockers are available the first cabinet measuring in at 80cm Long, 60cm High and 40cm Wide and the second cabinet 47cm Long, 87cm High and 50cm Wide.  They are located in the shortterm carpark.

  • Initial Fee $4 (Includes 3 hours)
  • $1 for any additional 4 Hour Period
  • Initial Fee $6 (Includes 3 hours)
  • $2 for any additional 3 Hour Period

Security

Ensuring the security of passengers, aircraft, and airport installations is an important task carried out by Broome Airport Services Security staff.

Security restricted areas and sterile areas are provided for the secure operation of international and regular passengers transport flights. The airport has modern X-ray and walk through weapons detecting equipment.

For special security requirements, such as private aircraft security, BAS can provide 24 hour, 7 day service.
