Baggage
Baggage allowances vary for each airline.  For specific information, please contact your airline directly.

 

Baggage Trolleys
Baggage trolleys are available free of charge in both the Departure and Arrival terminals.

 

Baggage Lockers
Baggage is not to be left unattended at Broome International Airport due to strict security regulations. Please note - Baggage Locker Storage facilities are available for a maximum storage period of 7 days.

Missing or Damaged Baggage
You must report any missing or damaged luggage within 24 hours of your arrival. It is best to contact airline staff as soon as you notice any lost or misplaced baggage.

 

Lost Property
For any items lost or found within the Broome International Airport Terminal approach the Check In / Customer Service Desk staff during operational hours. Otherwise, please contact Administration as we can arrange COD postage for those not in Broome. For any items lost or found on a plane - Contact the Airline direct.

ATM
There is an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) located in the Departure Terminal. Eftpos facilities are available at Pandanas Gift Shop.

 

Public Telephones
Public telephones are  located approx 50 metres from the Arrivals Terminal doors, near the Car Hire offices and inside the Departure Lounge.

 

Parking
Broome International Airport has both short and long term car parking facilities. See our Parking page for further details.

 

Passenger Drop Off
You may drop off your passengers and accompanying baggage at the terminal kerbside for no longer than 2 minutes. Due to Aviation Security requirements do not leave your vehicle or baggage unattended at anytime in this zone. If you wish to farewell your passenger and accompany them into the Terminal please park in the short term car parking area. Parking is not permitted directly outside the arrivals terminal. Please use the public car park.
 
Food
Seafood can be taken interstate but must be frozen, in an esky style foam box or hard esky with no wet ice. Contact your airline for further information. Special Needs

Disabled parking bays are located within the car park near the Departure Terminal doors and are clearly marked.

The departure Terminal has a pick up/drop off area at the kerbside in front of the terminal for 2 minute stopping.

Unisex toilets for the physically impaired are located outside the Arrivals Terminal and in the Departure Lounge area. Wheelchairs are available for use inside the terminal, see airline staff. Passengers requiring assistance are asked to contact the airport prior to their travel date so assistance can be arranged – see our Contact Us page.

 

Public Amenities
Toilets are situated throughout the terminal buildings, near the security screening area, opposite Nakamuras Café, and in the baggage collection area.

 

Baby Care Facilities
Fold- down baby change tables are located in the unisex toilet located outside the Arrivals Terminal, and in the departures and arrivals terminals.

 

Showers
Shower facilities are located in the Departure Lounge toilets.

 

No Smoking
Smoking is only permitted in the signed outdoor area of the departure lounge near Gate 1.  The rest of the Broome International Terminal s are smoke free.

 

Kimberley Club Qantas Lounge
The Kimberley Club Qantas Lounge is located upstairs through the outdoor area near Gate 1 Departures.   Only Qantas Club members and Business Class guests flying Qantas, QantasLink or CoachAir flights can access this area.

 

Internet Access
Wireless internet credit is sold from the Pandanas Gift Shop. Log-on can be from a personal laptop or from desktop computers at points in  the air-conditioned Departure Lounge and the Kimberley Club Qantas Lounge.
